An expert nanotech scientist from Fresco who works as a freelance consultant for some of the city's biggest firms, Chrichton has had a hand in a number of revolutionary nanotech developments and medical advances. He can be tempted by large sums of money, but usually his conscience wins out.

NOTE: There is some discussion as to whether this is the same character referred to by Ips as "Richard Chrichton" in "Memoirs of an Undead Book Printer" (Jens Durke). Popular opinion is that they are the same person, and Ips misspoke. Mushrooms will do that to ya sometimes.
